Making Goodness Attractive
STEPHEN GRADDICK IV

The Future of Storytelling Starts Here.
SPIN 4 Labs is a contemporary journalism, storytelling, and cultural anthropology initiative focused on how people communicate, connect, and build trust in a rapidly changing world. Through workshops, live experiences, and community-centered storytelling, SPIN 4 explores the intersection of media, technology, identity, and civic engagement.

The Problem
We’re Living Through a Communication Crisis.
Technology is changing faster than trust.
Information moves faster than understanding.
And many communities are being left out of the conversation entirely.
SPIN 4 exists to help students and communities navigate this new era through storytelling, media literacy, and human-centered communication.

The SPIN 4 Pillars

SPIN 4 Labs Curriculum
The SPIN 4 Labs curriculum is a future-focused communication and storytelling program designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving worlds of media, leadership, technology, and civic engagement.
Rooted in contemporary journalism, cultural anthropology, media literacy, and community storytelling, the curriculum helps students develop the practical and critical-thinking skills needed to communicate effectively in modern society.
Through hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, live production training, and real-world storytelling experiences, students learn how to:

-
analyze media critically
-
communicate with confidence
-
tell impactful stories
-
navigate misinformation
-
understand audience behavior
-
engage communities ethically
-
use emerging technologies responsibly
-
build trust through communication

The curriculum combines modern media training with deeper conversations about identity, culture, human behavior, and the role storytelling plays in shaping communities and public life.
SPIN 4 Labs is designed not only to prepare students for careers in media and communication, but to help them become more thoughtful leaders, creators, and citizens in an increasingly connected world.
